The Department prepares bachelors and masters in the field of knowledge "Management and Administrating", in the specialty 073: "Management" (educational and professional programs: "Management of Organizations and Administrating"; "Logistics Management").
Unlike the other economic specialties, where the emphasis is made on general economic issues, the specialty "Management" provides for the study of both economic disciplines and advanced study of management, marketing and logistic disciplines. This allows graduates to occupy virtually all positions at the enterprises: from economist to manager.
Upon completion in the specialty “Management”, graduates can continue their studies in the postgraduate training program. There is a scientific school "Economics and Management of Enterprises of the Transport Complex" in our Department (since 1995).
Since 2012, students have had the opportunity to study under the dual diploma program and obtain the second diploma: - Wyższa Szkoła Zarządzania Ochroną Pracy (WSZOP) (Higher School of Health and Safety Management in Poland (Katowice, Poland).
The collection of scientific papers "Economics of the Transport Complex" is published. It is included in the List of scientific specialized publications of Ukraine, where the results of the theses for obtaining the scientific degrees of DSci and PhD (Economics) are published; it is reviewed by the Ukrainian abstract journal “Dzherelo”, and it is included in the nationwide abstract database “Ukrainika Naukova” (Ukraine); and it is also included in international scientometric databases: Scientific Electronic Library eLIBRARY, Index Copernicus (Poland), Scolar Google, Directory of Research Journal Indexing (India), CyberLeninka (Russia).
