The department organized and conducted together with the research and production enterprise "Factor" interregional student competition "Auditor-2012" (2nd stage), which was attended by 38 students majoring in "Accounting and Taxation".

Despite the fact that the department provides training in the specialty "Accounting and Taxation", attention is paid to other areas of economics.

Our students became winners and prize-winners of the following competitions of scientific works:

All-Ukrainian competition of student research works of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in the following areas:

• "Intellectual Property",
• "Economics and Business Management",
• "Tourism",
• "Current issues of cooperation with the European Union",
• "Marketing",
• "World Economy and International Economic Relations",
• "Management of foreign economic activity",
• "Inclusive education"

The results of scientific student works are tested in the form of scientific articles and abstracts of scientific reports. Many students have publications in a foreign language, speak a high-level business foreign language and are prepared to work in international companies.

Students also take part in regional competitions of student research papers, including the Regional competition of student research papers in technical, natural and humanitarian sciences, held by the Board of Rectors of Kharkiv, Kharkiv City Competition of student research papers, conducted by the Department of Family Affairs. and youth of Kharkiv City Council.

Students majoring in "Accounting and Taxation" take an active part in these activities, publish the achievements of their research work in various collections of scientific papers and conference materials, win prizes in student competitions, and win competitions in research works as in Ukraine and abroad.
